On Thursday 3rd October, Walpole members gathered at The Saatchi Gallery in Chelsea, London for the launch of The State of London Luxury 2024 report. Commissioned in partnership with Cadogan as a part of Walpole Culture Month, the second edition of this annual report explores London's position as a global luxury capital and, for the first time, explores the symbiotic relationship between luxury, creativity, and the arts.

At the launch, guests mingled over coffee, juice and avocado toast before a presentation of the report by Cadogan CEO, Hugh Seaborn CVO, and Walpole CEO, Helen Brocklebank. This was followed by a far-reaching panel discussion exploring the increasingly complex and exciting collaborations between luxury brands and artists, as well as London's essential role as a hub of both historic and evolving culture. Chaired by Walpole's Charlotte Keesing, the panel featured Erica Boyer, Head of Corporate Partnerships at The National Gallery, William Oliver, Chief Brand Officer at dunhill and Dr Federica Carlotto, Programme Director MA Luxury Business at Sotheby's Institute of Art.
