After being hidden behind checked hoardings for several months, Burberry has reopened the doors to its global flagship store on New Bond Street in London. The British luxury brand and Walpole member has fully refreshed the two-storey, 22,000 sq ft retail unit to reflect the new aesthetic of the brand under Daniel Lee, who replaced the label's former Creative Director Riccardo Tisci in September 2022.
The store is home to an evolved shopping experience, offering womenswear, menswear, eyewear, shoes, and accessories with a stronger focus on leather goods and a new VIP area.
The minimalist interior is punctuated with an eclectic mix of contemporary furniture, creating a stripped-back setting designed to spotlight key Burberry pieces. Overhead lighting has been crafted to replicate the iconic Burberry check – a pattern introduced in the 1920s – referencing the brand’s rich heritage.
